We are partnering with a leading global alternatives asset manager, specializing in hedge fund solutions, to expand their hedge fund research team for coverage of managers in Credit, Commodity, Equities, Event-Driven, Macro, and Multi-Strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct investment due diligence and manager selection of hedge fund strategies, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, including onsite fund manager visits.
  • Regularly monitor approved and invested funds, as well as the underlying portfolios of funds.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the firm's investment processes and analysis tools using business analysis and programming skills.
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly reports, newsletters, and other marketing documents.

**Requirements**

  • 5-10 years of experience in alternative investments, as an allocator or a research professional from an alternative investment consultant, asset manager, or other institution with a focus on hedge fund investment strategies.
  • Advanced education, such as CFA, CAIA, and master's, is a plus.
  • An intrinsically motivated team player, with a structured way of thinking and strong attention to detail.
