Bench Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Bench Carpenter to join our team at YourRetreats Ltd, a leading manufacturer of luxury lodges and park homes. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and building high-quality timber products, including furniture, kitchens, and cabinets.
Key Responsibilities- Work from our company playbook to build fitted furniture to exact specifications, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently, taking initiative to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Collaborate with team members to innovate and improve our manufacturing processes, reducing aftersales issues and increasing efficiency.
- NVQ/Diploma L2 qualification or equivalent in bench joinery or a related field.
- Ability to read CAD drawings and shop drawings, with experience in using shop machinery, including CNC, Edgebander, router, and spindle moulder.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bench joinery roles, with a strong understanding of hand and power tools.
- Full UK driving license or ability to commute to our site in Morecambe.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
