Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced environment. As a good team player with experience in volume catering, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas and assisting the Head Chef in serving food and beverages.

The Home Environment

Our dedicated team provides compassionate care to Residents living with a range of needs, including dementia and Parkinson's. Our warm and friendly atmosphere welcomes Residents into our community, where they can enjoy a variety of activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Culinary Expertise: Share your passion for food and cooking with our residents.
  2. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas by following correct measures.
  3. Supporting the Head Chef: Assist in serving food and beverages, following their guidance.
  4. Dining Room Preparation: Help set up the dining room and maintain it once training has been given.
  5. Ongoing Progression: Undergo training and progression into cooking the best food for our residents, with support from the Head Chef.
  6. Teamwork: Work closely with all team members to achieve excellent service.
  7. Efficiency and Profitability: Minimize wastage and maximize profitability with support from the Head Chef.
  8. Maintenance and Repair: Inform the Head Chef or Home Manager of any broken equipment.
  9. Continuing Professional Development: Participate in ongoing team training and team bonding activities.
