Class 2 HGV Driver Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV drivers to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services Ltd. Our client, a well-known multinational clothing, footwear, and home products retailer, is seeking reliable and experienced drivers to work in the Coleshill area.

The successful candidate will be required to hold a valid Class 2 / C License, with no more than 6 points on their license. They will also need to hold valid Tacho and CPC cards. Immediate starts are available, and the position is offered on a temp to perm basis, with the opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks of agency employment.

The role involves working a 4 on 2 off shift pattern, including weekends, and will involve home delivery of furniture. Some furniture assembly work may be required, and the driver will need to be presentable in appearance and have a professional manner as they will be customer-facing.

As a Class 2 driver with our client, you will undergo 2 days of training prior to commencing work. All routes will be double-manned with a driver's mate, and you will have the opportunity to earn a bonus each month, subject to meeting targets.
