About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will work closely with our expert engineers to develop and optimize propulsion systems for cutting-edge electric vehicles and aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fitting, testing, and optimizing propulsion systems for future transportation solutions.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to install and configure instrumentation on engines, batteries, and electric motors.
  3. Utilizing specialized testing equipment and facilities to measure system performance and optimize control settings.
  4. Providing expert technical support to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  5. Developing strong knowledge of electronic control systems and staying up-to-date with advancements in battery and electric motor technology.
What You'll Need:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in propulsion testing and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with engine ECU and battery BMS systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other stakeholders.
  • A competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
