Job Title: Primary Teacher

We are seeking an exceptional Primary Teacher to join our team at Swindon Academy, a highly successful and aspirational school in the heart of Swindon.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to make a real difference in the lives of our students. As a Primary Teacher at Swindon Academy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stage 1 and 2, and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students in Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Assess and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support students
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum, working with colleagues to design and deliver high-quality learning experiences
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS (or equivalent) and a strong understanding of the Primary curriculum
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • A passion for Primary education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of our students
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
