Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 2 driver to join our team at WCF Chandlers. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering fuel and lubricants to domestic, commercial, and agricultural customers across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily loading of the vehicle at designated fuel terminals or company depots in line with company and H&S policies and procedures.
  • Deliver fuel and lubricants to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HGV License Class 2.
  • ADR including Class 3 in tanks is advantageous, although training can be given.
  • Driver CPC.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Passionate about delivering good customer service.
  • Methodical approach to work.
  • Keen attention to detail and good documentation control.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Flexible to meet customer needs, particularly during winter periods.
  • Demonstrable experience of working autonomously and making decisions.
  • Understanding of the importance of Health & Safety in all work activities.

Benefits:

  • Minimum salary of £31,512 per annum (based on £15.15 hourly rate).
  • 40 hour working week during core operating hours, Monday-Friday.
  • Overtime available for hours worked in excess of 40, as well as weekend work (when required), paid at an enhanced rate.
  • 33 days (pro rata) holiday per annum, including bank holidays.
