At Techniche Global Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Andover, Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading electronics manufacturer and contribute to the development of innovative products.

About the Role

This position involves coordinating and executing engineering activities to ensure product quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to specifications. You will work closely with senior engineers and management to execute tasks for engineering projects, communicate project status to stakeholders, and collect and analyze data for project evaluation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a relevant manufacturing environment and hold a HNC or HND in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline. A degree qualification in an engineering or scientific discipline such as electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior engineers and management in the execution of tasks for engineering projects.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders the status of assigned tasks.
  • Collect, present, and analyze data for reports submitted for the purpose of project evaluation.
  • Work alongside other manufacturing engineers and junior or graduate engineers on joint tasks.
  • Develop processes to improve quality and reduce waste by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Use documented Standard Operating Procedures, Process Capability, and Gauge R&R to verify and validate manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure equipment and process Standard Operating Procedures are documented and reviewed regularly.
  • Train and mentor junior and graduate engineers on key items of manufacturing equipment, engineering disciplines, procedures, and individual performance.
  • Assist quality engineers to investigate instances of poor quality or customer returns.
Requirements
  • Minimum: An HNC or HND in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Preferable: A degree qualification in an engineering or scientific discipline such as electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years working in a relevant manufacturing environment.
Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 hours
Friday: 08:30 hours

We offer a competitive salary of ££40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
