Mondrian Alpha, a leading hedge fund in London, is seeking an exceptional Lead Quantitative Researcher to join their Trading Technology team. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, the company leverages cutting-edge technology and data analysis to make informed trading decisions in real time.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in trading or financial services, and proficiency in C++ and Python with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with traders, developing and maintaining back-end services, extending and optimizing trading applications, and participating in a fully automated CI/CD pipeline.

A competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum is offered based on experience. The successful candidate will be based in London and play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and extension of the applications necessary for the hedge fund's trading operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in trading or financial services.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, and Azure-based processes.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
