About the Role

Journo Resources Limited is seeking a skilled Politics Researcher to join our editorial team in London. As a Politics Researcher, you will be responsible for researching and writing accurate, engaging copy conveying the government's progress on its promises.

This is a six-month fixed-term contract role that offers a competitive salary of £26,700 - £38,535 pro-rata per annum. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contribute to our mission to help rebuild trust in politics, and develop your skills and expertise in UK policy and politics.

Responsibilities

  • Research and write accurate, engaging copy conveying the government's progress on its promises.
  • Monitor the media and official sources to stay up-to-date with developments in UK politics and policy.
  • Work collaboratively with our editorial team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of content.
  • Develop contacts, subject knowledge, and expertise across the policy and politics domains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Politics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in research and writing, preferably in UK politics and policy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
