Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Havas Lynx. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and support to stakeholders, delegating tasks and providing guidance to junior members of the team, and building your profile around the agency to educate others on financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal agencies to collect budgets throughout the year
  • Prepare and review month-end reports, focusing on Gross Income (GI), including the deferred income schedule and GI reporting documents
  • Run finance inductions for new starters and attend monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings to provide analysis of the previous month's performance and challenge future performance
  • Work with internal agencies to run WIP meetings, monitor actions, and challenge financials
  • Develop and deliver regular commercial masterclasses and refreshers for the team
  • Produce and review monthly reporting for the network and create trackers for agencies as needed
  • Prepare ad-hoc team, network, and internal reports as required
Requirements:
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience in month-end accounting, including accruals, prepayments, and management accounts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex financial principles to non-finance colleagues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
