Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Resourcing Global Solutions. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling machined and bought-in parts to construct Pneumatic regulators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hydrostatic and function testing and certification of pressure regulators and control valves to agree with industry standards.
- Assemble machined components and set pressure to complete the configuration of pneumatic regulators.
- Perform final machining on manual/CNC lathes and lapping of assembled trim.
- Machining one-off and complex components to customer specification used in the production of valves and regulators.
- Use a wide range of measuring equipment to check components.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Experience of machining various metals.
Requirements:
- Ideal qualifications include HNC/HND or higher in mechanical engineering or machining.
- Not less than 2 years hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing workshop.
- A comprehensive understanding of materials handling, including crane driving and slinging.
