Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as an Assistant Principal - Teaching and Learning. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of improving teaching quality and staff development, with a passion for delivering high-quality lessons and driving rapid transformational improvement.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an existing or aspiring senior leader who shares our vision for educational excellence and is committed to driving improvement through effective leadership and collaboration. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading initiatives and developing staff through CPD, with a focus on improving teaching and learning across the academy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Develop and deliver high-quality CPD programs for staff to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive improvement and innovation in teaching and learning
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the academy's curriculum and assessment policies
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to support their professional development
