Paraplanner Job Description

At Clayton Davies Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team of experienced professionals. As a Paraplanner, you will play a vital role in supporting our wealth management team by providing high-quality pre-approval documentation, suitability reports, and other financial planning services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-approval documentation: Prepare accurate and compliant pre-approval documentation, ensuring that recommendations are thoroughly researched and signed off by relevant teams.
  • Suitability reports: Produce timely and compliant suitability reports from template format, utilizing all available technology to deliver accurate solutions for clients.
  • Financial calculations: Perform relevant financial calculations on behalf of our advisers, including CGT and AA, to ensure accurate and compliant advice.
  • Compliance and communication: Ensure all advice documentation is compliant with FCA guidelines and additional compliance requirements, and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Client information: Work with our advisers to gather sufficient client information, delegating tasks to the Client Administration Team as necessary.
  • Research systems: Understand and apply all of our company's research systems to provide accurate and compliant advice.
  • Client Administration Team: Provide clear and concise instructions to the Client Administration Team to ensure proposals and documentation are correctly completed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Paraplanner is essential, with previous experience of Curo and/or Dynamic Planner being an advantage.
  • Qualification: A qualification to QCF Level 4, or a willingness to work towards this with company support, is required.
