Salary
£70,000 - £60,000 per annum (London / National based)
Job Description
As a Technical Network Service Owner, you will be responsible for maximising the value of network technologies, including end-to-end enterprise connectivity and automation across various hosting and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify technical options and present them to less technical audiences.
- Provide technical leadership in large and small project engagements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and objectives.
- Work with business units to identify and implement processes and automation to drive operational efficiencies.
- Resolve any outstanding operational issues caused by technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Deep technical understanding and design experience in several areas, including SDWAN, SASE / SSE, LAN Switching, Wireless Networking, Routing (BGP, OSPF etc).
- Broad vision of industry standards, recent technologies, and key market trends.
- Experience in Network Automation, including tools and common scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Great understanding of packet level traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
- Experience of 3rd party supplier management, including excellent interpersonal skills.
