About Our Company

Our client, a reputable manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Project Engineer to join their skilled Installation, Maintenance and Calibration Team.

The ideal candidate will manage the full life-cycle of plant instrumentation projects from concept to commissioning. Responsibilities will include managing a variety of instrumentation and control systems, such as Level, Flow, Temperature, Pressure and Mass Instrumentation, PLC Controllers, Safety Instrumented Systems & Intrinsic Safety.

  1. Oversee the project life-cycle from concept through to commissioning.
  2. Create or modify instrumentation drawings using CAD software.
  3. Manage plant instrumentation system modifications via a management of change system.
  4. At least 7-10 years of commercial experience managing instrumentation projects in the chemical process or regulated industry sector.
  5. Detailed knowledge of instrumentation documents, including Loop Drawings, I/O Lists, P&ID's, Network architecture Diagrams, Bill of Quantities, Equipment Schedules.
