About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at Merrifield Consultants. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to the medical team, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative assistance to the medical team, including data collection and activity recording
  • Assist with the induction of new starters within the teams
  • Attend and contribute to relevant team meetings, taking minutes and preparing presentations
  • Support the development of statistical reports and update child and family electronic data as required
Requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents/carers and professionals
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage workload, prioritizing competing tasks effectively
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications, database packages, and websites
  • Minute taking and copy typing skills, with the ability to produce accurate and well-presented medical letters and reports
