As an Audit and Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting partners and associate partners in the management and delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation services for corporate and OMB clients
  • Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing budgets, and completing analytical reviews
  • Leading smaller audits, supervising, delegating, and reviewing work of trainees
  • Involvement in preparing consolidated accounts for some clients
  • Delivering information to clients in a timely manner while displaying in-depth client and industry knowledge
  • Monitoring chargeability and assignment budgets proactively
  • Developing specialist sector knowledge and keeping abreast of industry developments

  • Be part-qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 12 months' experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
  • Have experience of planning and completing audits and accounts preparation
  • Experience of delegating and reviewing work of trainees
  • Good general IT skills and accounting software knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be an authentic team member, passionate about the work, driven to succeed, and use initiative
