About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support class Senior LSA's and Teachers in preparing resources to meet the personalised learning intentions of allocated students.
  • Provide 1:1 support under the supervision of the class Teacher for the delivery of skills-based learning.
  • Work closely with class Teachers to report on progress using an evidence-based approach.

Requirements:

  • Adaptability and flexibility to work with students of different skill levels and subjects.
  • A proactive and resilient attitude to working in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Prioritisation skills to manage tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • A child-only enhanced DBS (applicable after a call with us) and overseas police clearance (if applicable).
