Finance Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Job Summary

The IT Finance Analyst will support the end-to-end process of the Global Data Centre Infrastructure analysis, reporting, planning, and forecasting. This role will involve developing the forecast and assisting with planning processes, as well as timely communication of issues and changes. The IT Finance Analyst will liaise with Infrastructure Management, Financial Accountant, and other finance leads to drive strong financial controls and effective communication with both finance and non-finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior IT Finance Analyst with forecasting and annual planning.
  • Prepare and review analytical review commentary for monthly reports.
  • Manage IT allocations for all reporting, forecasting, and planning processes.
  • Ensure a demonstrable audit trail exists for IT support expense.
  • Proactively identify areas of risk and opportunity within the Infra expense base.
  • Support capital spend and associated depreciation model.
  • Interact with the Financial Accountant to provide and obtain information.
  • Assist with raising purchase orders and vendor queries.
  • Manage quarterly invoices for Infrastructure.
  • Support the Senior IT Finance Analyst with ad hoc purchase orders and other supplier needs.
  • Ownership of month end financial accruals and prepayment into Peoplesoft.
  • Support the Senior IT Finance Analyst on the monthly finance reporting to Head Office.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • Commercial Acumen.
  • High level of analytical ability and process analysis.
  • Strong Systems and Excel knowledge.
  • High orientation to on-time delivery.
  • Proven record of meeting tight deadlines.
  • IT Finance FP&A experience.
  • Experience of dealing effectively with people at all levels.
  • Ideally previous experience working on business change projects.
