Job Title: Physiotherapist - Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a mental health hospital based in Stapleton, Bristol. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs, and develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Lead and manage junior staff, ensuring effective and efficient management of patient care.
  • Maintain close working relationships with other professionals within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring clinical practice is in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to business growth by promoting the therapy service, in line with the local unit's business plan.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, carers, and purchasers throughout the patient's rehabilitation.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in mental health and ideally in an inpatient setting.
  • Able to use relevant outcome measures and evaluation of treatments alongside current evidence-based practice.
  • Capable of working collaboratively with a wider clinical team and have knowledge of other disciplines and their role.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload, cooperate with other therapists, and supervise Student Physiotherapists.
