Transformative Robotics Leadership Opportunity

At Intelix, we're revolutionizing the private cell therapy market through cutting-edge digital platforms and advanced robotic automation. As a pioneering biotechnology company, we're dedicated to making life-saving cell therapies more accessible and affordable for patients worldwide.

We're seeking a visionary Head of Robotics to lead our multidisciplinary robotics team. In this pivotal role, you'll define, design, build, and test mobile robotics solutions that are integral to our state-of-the-art manufacturing platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of robotics engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee the development of advanced robotics systems, including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and multi-degree-of-freedom robotic arms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and functional requirements.
  • Develop and execute engineering and testing plans, managing project timelines and resources effectively.
  • Drive the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as machine vision, advanced sensing, and networked communication protocols.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to maintain the company's competitive edge in robotics and automation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive industry experience in robotics engineering and leadership of multidisciplinary teams, ideally using agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial robotics, including AMRs and 6-DoF robotic arms, and advanced sensing technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++; familiarity with CI/CD methods is advantageous.
  • Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Experience with robotic prototyping software (e.g., ROS 1 or 2) and industrial communication protocols (e.g., MQTT).
  • Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse technical teams.
  • Innovative mindset with flexibility in approach and problem-solving abilities.
