About the Role

The Critical Systems Team at Cundall is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to play a leading role in delivering innovative electrical design solutions on large-scale data centre projects.

As an Electrical Design Specialist, you will collaborate with our team to drive and manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects. You will be closely involved in the design process, managing your immediate team of engineers, and monitoring budgets and programme.

You will use your expertise to manage, motivate, and inspire your colleagues, including helping to develop less experienced engineers. You will support senior staff within the team and contribute to project meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, significant experience in electrical engineering roles, and a proven ability to manage small to medium-scale projects and teams.

Essential characteristics for the successful candidate include:

  • Ability to take ownership of tasks
  • Capacity to think around problems and guide the team towards solutions
  • Recognition of the importance of collaboration in a multi-disciplinary design environment
  • Organised and confident communication skills with client-facing abilities

Location

Whilst the preferred location is our London office, we will also consider applications for candidates to be located in the following Cundall office locations: Birmingham, Manchester, or Newcastle.
