About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Haematology team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care and coordination for patients undergoing Apheresis procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert treatment, care, and coordination for patients undergoing Apheresis procedures
  • Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and experience
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in research and audit activities to advance the field of Haematology and Apheresis
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Post-qualification specialist course in Haematology or Apheresis
  • Extensive experience of working autonomously at an advanced level within the specialist area
  • Proven evidence of management/leadership skills and autonomous practice
  • Previous experience of student supervision and clinical education at undergraduate level
  • Experience of delivering patient advocacy and working well within multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrates evidence of responding to patient feedback and experience of audit, research, and evidence-based care
