Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Sudlows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience of working on large-scale construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project's costs, including planning, change management, forecasting, and WIP reporting. They will work closely with the pre-construction team to review contract wording, conduct feasibility studies, and perform cost-benefit analysis.

The role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to exercise technical or professional judgement using Company values, policy, and procedures to guide actions and decisions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in quantity surveying.
  • Strong background in construction contracts, including NEC3/4, JCT design and build, and bespoke contracts.
  • Experience of working as a principal contractor.
  • Multi-discipline team experience and project management skills.
  • CSCS Card.
