About the Opportunity

Vision for Education - Manchester is seeking an Academic Coach to join their team as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools.

Job Description

As an Academic Coach, you will be responsible for facilitating learning and managing classroom dynamics. You will cover predominantly PE and a diverse range of secondary school subjects with lesson plans provided in advance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons and engaging students in learning
  • Recording accurate registers and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Handing over effectively to the absent teacher and ensuring a smooth transition

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Recent experience coaching or teaching Sport/PE
  • Experience supporting young people in the community
  • GCSE Level 4/C in English and Maths
  • A Degree (advantageous)
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £115-£125 per day, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. We also offer:
