About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Care Assistants in maintaining the highest standards of care and promoting a positive and supportive environment for residents and colleagues alike.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring open and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Hold an S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Have a background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Be able to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
