We are seeking a skilled Metalwork Craftsman to join our team at Orion Electrotech Manufacturing Careers. As a Metalwork Craftsman, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of welding and fabrication tasks, including fabrication, welding, assembly, and inspection. You will work from technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate metal components, structures, and assemblies, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalwork, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a manufacturing or construction environment is essential. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting quality checks on completed welds and fabrications, making adjustments as necessary.

Key responsibilities include:

• Fabrication: Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate metal components, structures, and assemblies.
• Welding: Perform TIG welding on various metals, ensuring strong, accurate welds.
• Assembly: Assemble fabricated parts using hand and power tools, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
• Inspection: Conduct quality checks on completed welds and fabrications, making adjustments as necessary.
