Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Equipment Servicer to join our team at Alfa Laval Corporate AB. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be expected to work independently, traveling to customer sites across the Central Eastern area of England. Overnight stays and participation in a 24-hour call-out system are part of this role.
You will be working on high-speed rotating equipment, providing field service support, troubleshooting, and training at customer locations on the mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of our separation technology. This includes performing preventive maintenance, emergency and warranty repairs, installation supervision, and commissioning of new equipment, system audits, process troubleshooting, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities- Inspecting, servicing, commissioning, and fault-finding of new and existing equipment
- Assisting and training customer maintenance personnel on how to operate our equipment and perform maintenance tasks
- Meeting KPIs for the service team in areas such as submission of job reports and timesheets
