Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles, waste handling equipment, and heavy plant machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine and planned servicing, diagnostic work, and vehicle repairs to a high standard
  • Conduct MOT preparation and maintenance on heavy goods vehicles
  • Work on a variety of heavy commercial vehicles, including trucks, buses, and heavy plant equipment
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve productivity targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Full qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Experience working on a wide range of heavy commercial vehicles
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
