We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at THE PIG. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Housekeeper in the efficient running of the housekeeping team, including supervising and developing a team of Room Attendants and Linen Porters.
- Set an example and encourage the development of team members, carrying out monthly performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Lead the team from the front-line to deliver exceptional levels of standards across all areas of the hotel, including the preparation and cleanliness of bedrooms and public areas.
- In the absence of the Head Housekeeper, take responsibility for ensuring the condition of all furnishings, fittings, and equipment, liaising with the maintenance team and managing all linen, deliveries, and stock.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy Head Housekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
