The UK Digital Underwriting Assistant will provide technical and administrative support to Underwriters within the UK Digital team. This role will involve working closely with Underwriters to provide a high-quality and effective service to brokers and clients, using the company's systems and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor eTrade inbox and distribute emails
  • Phone hunt group maintenance and updates
  • Assist Underwriters with accounts queries
  • Check proof of bonus/CCE emails sent in from brokers against held risks
  • Create and send CCE to brokers
  • Process Index linking figures monthly
  • Process ARAG reports
  • Manage cancellations, claims, MID, ELTO, and agency tasks as directed by the E-Trade Manager

Requirements:

  • Insurance experience providing technical and administrative support within commercial combined/property/package/motor/casualty classes
  • Use of computerised systems to process policies and documentation
  • IT literate with fast accurate data entry and processing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Time and task management
  • Multi-tasking
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised, confident, and meticulous with an enquiring mind
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, keen with enthusiasm and drive
