Job Description

Estimator and Quantity Surveyor for Fit Out Projects

We are seeking an experienced Estimator and Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As an Estimator and Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for fit out projects, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage estimates for fit out projects, including quantity takeoffs, material costs, and labor costs
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop estimates that meet their needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify potential issues
  • Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project progress and any issues that may arise

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator and Quantity Surveyor in the fit out industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in estimating software and tools
