Airfield Supervisor

Role Overview

AmcoGiffen is seeking a highly experienced Airfield Supervisor to join our Aviation business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily management of various civil engineering and rail projects within our portfolio of work in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise site operations, including labour, sub-contractors, plant, and materials.
• Ensure all company Health & Safety, Environmental requirements, and initiatives are implemented.
• Liaise with site staff and commercial staff to ensure works are delivered within tender allowances.
• Produce and brief method statements and task briefings to all reporting personnel.
• Ensure Quality standards are achieved and are 'right first time.'
• Monitor site progress against programme and deliver the contract within programme and budget.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Agent or Sub Agent working on Aviation projects and frameworks.
• Experience and a proven track record of successful project delivery for a Main Contractor/sub-contractor on Airfield works as a Supervisor or General Foreman.
• Ability to obtain Airside pass in the form of Basic Disclosure Certificate.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• CSCS Card Holder, SMSTS, IOSH Environmental or SEATS, First Aid, TWC.
