About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lifeguard to join our team at Virgin Active. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members in the pool and spa areas, while also providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise members in the pool and spa areas, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Monitor water chemical levels and clean the water as necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all areas and adhere to high standards of Virgin Active.
  • Responsibility for compliance with all mandatory training and health and safety.
  • Fulfill Duty Shifts when required, controlling staffing and facility issues throughout the club.
Requirements
  • A current Lifeguard qualification and be fully registered, with either a IQL National Pool Qualification (RLSS), HABC Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding (RQF) or STA Professional Award for Pool Lifeguard (RQF) qualification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
