About the RoleThis role involves working with technical drawings and build manuals to trim, bond, and assemble carbon fibre components. You will also be responsible for assembling components, jigs, and fixtures, and for maintaining the highest quality standards on all manufactured composite components.
Main Responsibilities- Fitting and bonding structural composite components
- Assembling components, jigs, and fixtures
- Maintaining the highest quality standards
- Contributing to process development to improve quality and efficiency
- Working with manufacturing engineering to support design for manufacture meetings
- Significant previous experience trimming/fitting a broad range of composite materials
- Ability to read and understand detailed technical drawings
- Experience with using air tools, hand tools, and adhesives
- A methodical and thorough approach to work with excellent attention to detail
