About the Role
">This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a local company based near Lisburn in Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate will have experience working with natural stone and will be responsible for managing projects ranging from £20,000 gardens to £2 million Commercial Landscaping schemes, as well as façade restoration projects and bespoke products.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in full-range QS activities, including running and growing the market within Northern Ireland and Ireland. There is also potential to build and develop a steady stream of your own work.
About the Company
Our client specialises in natural stone paving and bespoke natural stone hardscape products. They have been providing high-quality services to clients across the region for many years.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial consultation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on natural stone products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Present regular project updates to clients, highlighting milestones achieved, challenges overcome, and future plans.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the natural stone industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
What We Offer
In return for your expertise and dedication, our client offers a competitive salary range of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, including a company car.
