## Opportunity Overview

Weightmans is a leading law firm with a strong reputation for providing expert advice to healthcare professionals. We are seeking a skilled Medical Defence Lawyer to join our top-ranked team.

## Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Professional Discipline Team with the management of matters relating to doctors and dentists on behalf of their medical defence organisation, and private clients.
* Manage a case load of professional discipline matters under supervision of a partner.
* Provide advocacy at inquest hearings and at the GMC.
* Achieve set financial and chargeable targets.
* Ensure relevant deadlines, quality measures and KPIs are adhered to.
* Comply with relevant policies and procedures.
