Personal Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Personal Care Support Specialist to join our team at Shaw Education Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children with special needs, enabling them to reach their full potential.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work in a supportive environment that prioritizes the wellbeing of our students. As a Personal Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional needs of our pupils are met, allowing them to thrive in a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily personal hygiene, including washing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide intimate care support, such as toileting, continence care, and menstrual care, while maintaining dignity and privacy
- Assist students with positioning and mobility needs, including position changes into standing frames and wheelchairs
- Ensure proper postural alignment and comfort during classroom activities and transitions

- A competitive salary: £23,657-£24,027 per annum (full-time equivalent)
