Key Responsibilities

  • Support the work of registered practitioners in the clinical beds team, maintaining excellent communication with patients, relatives, and team members.
  • Perform patient assessments, implement and evaluate individual care plans, and undertake daily reviews of patients' health and social care needs.
  • Carry out environmental assessments, consider equipment needs, and ensure safe usage.
  • Participate in the development of rehabilitation programs and work with registered professionals to enhance patient care.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of professional area procedures and practices (nursing, physiotherapy, or occupational therapy)
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary team working in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to prioritize and plan workload, follow the Health Care Support Workers code of conduct policy, and maintain professional boundaries
