Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant - Support Role

Location: Bournemouth

Salary: £12.82 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

We are assisting a local mainstream primary school in Bournemouth with their recruitment of a special educational needs teaching assistant. The role involves supporting pupils with challenging and complex needs on a 1:1 basis or small group basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement personalised care and education plans and follow EHCPs effectively

* Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages independence and personal growth

* Utilise effective communication strategies to build rapport and trust with the pupils

* Support the class teacher to deliver bespoke curriculum

Requirements:

* Experience working with pupils with SEN, including those with ASD

* Confidence, resilience, and proactivity

* Ability to work effectively with children who have complex needs
