Retail Business Development Manager

The Retail Account Manager plays a critical role in developing and managing a strong opportunity pipeline at scale. This involves identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision makers within the executive teams of prospective vendors/suppliers.
To succeed in this role, you will need to analyze complex data to identify growth opportunities and help the team achieve its goals. You will also be responsible for improving business processes and making the team more effective in supporting vendors.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospect and Recruit New Suppliers: Identify, prospect, and recruit new suppliers to Amazon.com.au by explaining the benefits of a Retail relationship with Amazon.
- Vendor Integration: Help new vendors master Amazon's tools and systems so that they can be self-sufficient and integrate their products to Amazon's platform efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Improve business processes and make us more effective in supporting vendors.
We are looking for an experienced account manager or project manager with a strong track record of delivering results. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in account management, project management, or buying, and a Bachelor's degree. Additionally, you should have experience using Excel and other business analytic tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel and SQL); Experience in online retail; Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML.
