Science Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team at Academics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging science lessons across key stages, fostering a passion for science and curiosity among students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to promote student progress and achievement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with national curriculum requirements and implement best practices in science education.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A proven track record of teaching science across KS3, KS4, and/or KS5.
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or BA Hons) with QTS.
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and ability to teach engaging science lessons.
  • Current Enhanced DBS registration or willingness to apply through Academics.
