We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our Highway Maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and fault-finding work associated with Street lighting throughout the Borough.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out all types of maintenance and fault-finding work associated with Street lighting
- Work on both single and dual carriageway roads with traffic
- Have good experience of street lighting electrical maintenance and knowledge of New Roads and Street Works Act 1991
- Hold City & Guilds 2365 or 2357 or equivalent recognised qualification in electrical installation or electrical technology and NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or electrical technology
- Be prepared to work in all weather and take part in an out of hour's standby rota attending emergency situations to assess and repair
- Work overtime as and when required and hold a driving licence
