About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lecturer to join our team in Early Years and Childcare at The Sheffield College. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students at levels 1-3.

With the introduction of T-levels in this area, we are looking for an individual with a strong background in Early Years and Childcare to help us develop and grow our provision. You will work closely with our team to continually improve the quality of our programs and ensure that our students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver an engaging and inspiring curriculum that meets the needs of our students
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
  • Engage with students and prioritize their needs
  • Assess and mark student work to ensure high standards
  • Contribute to the coordination of our programs and ensure seamless delivery
Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Teaching and assessing qualifications or willingness to work towards
  • Passion for teaching and learning
  • Essential experience in childcare and/or early years settings
