About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team at the Gillingham Surgical Centre. As an Optometrist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional eye care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Work closely with our Ophthalmic Consultants to deliver high-quality care
  • Provide pre- and post-assessment appointments for patients referred for refractive surgery
  • Contribute to the development of our cataract pathway and ocular-plastic pathway

Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist who is registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) and has a strong understanding of ophthalmic surgical care provision and ophthalmic disease. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
