**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide strategic direction and functional support to ensure safe practices and regulatory compliance across our global sites.
* Build a global talent strategy that provides career growth and development and creates a strong talent pipeline.
* Provide oversight and technical expertise to support licensing, permitting, or other environmental, health or safety requirements and takes appropriate action to ensure that any non-compliance issues are resolved.
* Develop group and division level employee health and safety training programs.
* Be a PPI champion for the function and incorporate PPI methodology and continuous improvement into our EHS vision and strategy.
* Ensure manufacturing facilities are consistently prepared for internal / external audits by regulatory agencies, satisfy all rules, requirements, and performance standards, and maintain relevant certifications and licenses.
* Build a global network across the group for all EHS professionals to collaborate, develop and share best practices.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc/ B.A.) in a Life/Physical Science, Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene or Risk Management.
* Master's degree preferred.
* Previous experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety or related function, that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 10+ years).
* Knowledge of ergonomics, ergonomic evaluations and risk reduction.
* Excellent presentation skills and the ability to provide effective training.
* Advanced level of English.
