We are seeking a highly skilled Telecoms Systems Designer to join our client's international team. As a key member of the design team, you will play a crucial role in creating a world-class design system that prioritizes accessibility and eco-design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality UI components, patterns, and tokens that meet the needs of diverse products and cultures.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure components are technically feasible, accessible, and optimized for performance.
  • Ensure the design system is accessible, responsive, and eco-designed, aligning with the company's core values.
  • Participate in the creation of design documentation and contribute to the development of training programs for new designers.
  • Audit and evaluate existing design elements and components to identify areas for improvement and consistency.
  • Organize regular meetups, workshops, and webinars to engage with design teams globally and gather feedback on the design system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of creating and maintaining design systems.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in design systems, UI/UX design, and development tools such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of development tools and design implementation, as well as IOS Guidelines and Material 3.

This is a full-time, hybrid position with a permanent contract. You will be required to work in the office near Paddington 2-3 days a week. Our client offers an excellent remuneration package and career progression prospects.
