About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering environmental work for multi-disciplinary teams, including EIA, options appraisals, and environmental management. You will also work closely with clients, develop new areas of business, and mentor others in the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the coordination and delivery of environmental work for multi-disciplinary teams, including EIA, options appraisals, and environmental management.
  • Ensuring high standards of environmental performance within engineering projects, influencing project development, and delivering optimal environmental outcomes.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for new business growth and development.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members, contributing to their professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Degree or Master's in an environmental or science subject.
  • Relevant post-graduate experience (ideally within a consultancy environment), preferably Chartered.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical specialisms.
  • Strong report writing, verbal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to review the work of others to ensure quality.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to take on new challenges and work from other Atkins or client office locations.
