About the Role

As an IT Supplier Manager at Connells Group, you will be responsible for identifying, selecting, and managing 3rd party service providers who deliver goods and services across the IT enterprise.

You will use your commercial knowledge and experience to negotiate and ensure the company is gaining ongoing value from suppliers, assisting in maintaining productive and healthy relationships where both parties share an investment in a positive outcome.

The successful candidate will have experience in an IT Supplier Management function, with a good understanding of IT supplier categories such as Software, Hardware, Software as a Service (SaaS), Network Management Systems, and Telecoms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging and onboarding new suppliers of required services in accordance with supplier management policies and standards
  • Negotiating the best price for agreed services, considering the end-to-end lifetime value of the engagement
  • Maintaining successful relationships with peers within IT and suppliers

Requirements include:

  • Experience in an IT Supplier Management function; good understanding of IT supplier categories such as Software, Hardware, Software as a Service (SaaS), Network Management Systems, and Telecoms
  • Ability to leverage value across the lifetime of a 3rd party engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
